Mk1 seats fall to pieces or at least some did, i think the early ones were worse for it..

I hope you know what I mean, each revision of the Unocar has their virtues but a lumped together bit of each makes a bit os a mess out of it, just look at the seats totally wrong against the red carpet. I'm more of a purest when it comes to cars, low impact mods, tweak and improve rather than re-design. Your car's a completely different prospect Dunc, your intentions seem pretty clear from the start a track day monster which can also be used on the roads.

I know although I did worry for a split second that someone on here might actually own that car and I'll have upset them. Anyway, your allowed to with you beast of an Uno.

Converting a mk2 to have a mk1 front and rear end is cool

Converting a mk1 to a mk2 front end is not (Did Chas just say that?!!! )

Mk1 rear end looks good on both mk1 and mk2 however, and looks better than the mk2 rear end anyway

tbh, i love them both, both are awesome. i have a mk2 but then again its only cos i knew the car and always wanted it from years ago when my mate owned it. all my mates have mk1's, so im a bit of a loner lol!

No-one said yours didn't look great Ant. But whenever anyone brings up a preference for a mk1 you start writing that 'Mk1 Regurgitation' stuff everywhere. People ARE allowed to have a different preference to you!

I like it, and I think it looks better than a mk2 tailgate. That's MY preference, and like anything in life if we all liked the same thing then wouldn't the world be a boring place

Oh, it's not galvanised. It's plastic. So that means it won't ever rust but will crack instead

Maybe as has been suggested a poll should be had and let the people decide

Mark 1 turbo tailgate with a mark 2 turbo bumper looks best imo

Mk1 tailgate all the way, for a start it isn't the same as all the other uno's of the same year, but designed specifically for the turbo! Built in spoiler.... no contest IMO.

I have have always liked the mk1, but whenever the question comes up mk1 or 2 there are a few biased mk1 owners who disrespect the mk2 saying its looks (CRAP??!!) not as good etc regurgitate!!! forcing it down my throat, jumping on the end of threads, you'l always get a reply from me, not a rewriten one with mk2 changed to mk1, mk2 forever!! ant!
