Wow, well done fella.

When you've done each thing, give us a little pic (before and after), the number, and what you've done... good potential, this car has, but I'd say the thing that lets it down most is the dents... shows her age.

Get em popped, filler em, and restore...!

=)

removed the dash board today :

Also, delocked the boot as u can see below :

Also done some quick welding , amazed to see very little rust, largest being on the right rear doors !

finished all dents.

all set for a respray soon !

goota get some sand paper for next few days !

looks like your getting stuck in there, are you doing the work yourself, dont forget its all in the preparation, take your time all you'l regret it later, dont throw a shine over it until happy,

err

to an extent, buddy.

My welding skills are not up to date, and sheet metal is being worked by someone else.

I will try the paint, though.

Will open the engine head tomorrow.

More to come !!

Good luck with the project Premrajeev (y) Looks like you are doing a lot of work in a short space of time, and as antsuno says take your time in the preparation stage.

"Preparation is everything" is a saying used a lot in the restoration industry. Painting a whole car takes literally less than an hour (depending on the number of coats), but is only as good as the quality of preparation beneath it. Take your time and make your Uno shine :D

Looking forward to seeing some results soon :slayer:

Wow, ur right on track aint ya...

I agree with him above, 95% of the finished item is all in the prep work, fillering and sanding down smooth and priming the car.
if all these are done correct and the top coat is applied by some one who is a good sprayer, then this could be one of the cleanest 5 door uno's around..
Keep up the good work bud.....:)

phew !

after lot of sweating ,finished the painting work yesterday eve.

Will post some pic today after getting her serviced.

Spent around 500 pounds ...

Engine & suspension works still pending, and has been re-scheduled....:D

Well, for all those who were curious -- I have binned my seat belt springs and the other bits too :p

better loosing a spiring to an eye..;)

Hah, hope you got the pictures of the new dials I did for you man.

Said you didn't need a turbo cluster, so that's cool.
I'd think about getting a turbo centre console though. They make the interior look more substancial.

Good going on the Uno, looking good.
