General Fiat Uno 1.7 Diesel Glow Plug Light

Hello, I have been pulling my hair out over this one and i just cant get round the problem. to start off with there is not a book on the fiat uno 1.7 D anywhere so books are not any help.. The problem is that the glow plug light on the dashboard does not come on and the car with not start.. I have checked and checked and cant find the problem......
1. I know the golw plug bulb in dashboard works
2. The Glow plugs are new
3. The regulator box is ok
4. And the fuses are ok
5. Relay beside battery ok
6 And the engine is fine its just something else rical and i dont know what????

Can anyone help me as im in a real pickle .. nothing seems to work.

Hi..I too faced a similar problem, My glow plug light is not coming ON and also the Check engine light is not coming ON, and hence i am unable to start the car, Can you please tell me how your problem was sorted? Please help. My car is Fiat Petra 1.9d elx
