I hope to get about £1000 seen as i bought thew car for £900 and have spent aprox 1700 on it since.

Its got 66000 miles on the clock. mot till october. tax till end of the month. Drives great with no probs.

have a look at the website below for more information on the car. Goto the members cars section and then bushboys uno.

It's a nice Uno, but it's not worth a grand. Modifying a car doesn't add to it's value. To be honest I can see you getting 600 quid tops.

Your best bet is to bring it back to standard (or as close as possible) and sell the alloys and mods seperately, that way you'll recoup at least some of the costs.

yeah i was thinking of that.. but to do that i will have to get a new tail gate or get it smoothed becuase of the spoiler holes...

plus ide like to keep the wheels anyway.. i havent got any others to put on.. well ill see what i get anyway

Totally agree with you Steve.

Bushboy, UN-lower it, replace steel wheels (get from scrap) and seats. Replace backbox with a pipe-extension if you haven't got the original. Get rid of the spoiler. Sell your Uno. Sell your spare parts in pieces. Use your Fox(y Lady) alloys on the Punto. They'd propably fit (98 mm), if you buy a small engine'd version (little engine = tiny, unvented brakes at front and drums at rear).

I'd love to have your seats, but living on another continent, it's rather difficult.

Morten.

Edit: Had to put an "o" into allys making it alloys.

well yeah io think i might do that. I do have the original springs but i dont think there very good any more... there in a bit of a state... same for the original shocks. I stil lthe the seats although there a bit torn etc but a cover will do. Do you think my wheels (15") would fit a cinq? im thinking about one of them also. the 1.1 sporting. As for the back box... i dont have the original.. what do you mean by pipe extention?

I think the cinq 1.1 sporting (no cinqs in Norway - I've only seen them "alive" in Italy) has the same enine as I've got. The 1108 ccm. So the brakes are propably about the same - since the cinq is even smaller than the Uno and therefor less wheight to stop. 15" alloys on a lowered cinq would look insane(ly great propably).

Well, a pipe extension is somewhat noisy - it depends on how many rear silencers your exhaust has originally. Mine has two (in addition to the cat.) You can eventually rip off your Rage box and replace it with a pipe that fits your exhaust - you can even buy flexible hoses, just so it looks alright at the tail end. This will not affect the emissions, it's just very cheap. :D

Looks like a Uno 93 K 1.0 ie start is worth about £400 with no mods and about 60k looking at autotrader. These are good cond ones too looking at them. Can't get valuations from parkers for free anymore on the website which is a pity!

Paul

Yeah, my M-reg with 65k odd is only worth £400-500 i guess (great cond, only two tiny bits of rust!), but I don't care too much as it is losing pennies compared to pounds if it was a newer car!

If you take those wheels off bushboy you might sort out your poor acceleration?!

Paul

well if i do get a cinq (more likely than a punto) then ill keep the alloys.. i dont really wanna loose em anyway. Think i might set about standardising my uno tomorrow. mines in good condition. only probs are the holes in the boot lid from the spoiler (dont know how to patch them..) and some of the paint is a bit dodgy but looks perfect from about 10 meters.. its only when u inspect it that you notice.. little things like slightly faded paint when ive had the graphics on before and a few marks here and there.. no dents whatsoever. oh and a broken bumper :(.. but ill fix that first.

recon ill get £400 for it tho. maybe more at a push. think i might take the exhaust off of an old uno
