ok if lexus lights are chavvy, will carbon fibre ones be better?

I don't think carbon fibre is translucent enough to let any light through... I've never even heard of carbon fibre lenses being made

And sorry guys, but I still don't like Lex-arse rear lights. That's just my opinion, but it's based on the fact that most of the cars fitting clear rear lights round my area are Chavvy idiots in Saxos, Corsas and generally all the "follow the sheep" herd who have to bandwagon jump. They're very much a "me too!" accessory now.

Be different, and go for smoked rear lenses! They were in fashion a few years back (and available for a Uno), but are now so far out of fashion that they're back in retro-fashion. Erm, if you get my drift?!!! :D

Is it just me or does the smoothed over tail gate on that blue Uno make it look like it has a HUGE ARSE.

I think a cool look would be to ditch the tail lights all together and smooootttthhhh over the entire thing!!!! I'm saying this because impracticality seems to be the cool thing at the moment... Oh and extra headlights at the front (pointing up slightly), ditch the door handles and locks, and weld the bonnet shut (smooth that over too)...

For those of you who don’t get sarcasm (and most people who like smoothed chavvy stuff don’t), that was it . What is wrong with how it looked when it came out of the factory? The Mk1 has the coolest retro charm why wreck it? If you get a retro looking car and put fashionable stuff on it, you get a stupid looking car...

That was my moan of the week :)

Good idea James...
In keeping with the trend for 4x4s (SUVs) at the moment, why not fit rectangular trailer-lights into the bumper? That way, you can completely smoo-ooo-th over where the taillights are supposed to go and it will look way-cool! :)

Where will the smoothing end... how about smoothing over the rear window as well...

PS. when I first saw this thread, I thought it was about 'Jesus lights' which I wasn't too sure about, but assumed it meant attaching a large spotlight pointing to the sky, so that everyone could see (from the shaft of light) where you were.

Sorry, the carbon fibre ones have holes in which the bulbs are in so they are legal ;) and i dont know if they do them for the uno, but the clear lights look
