I agree with Frosty.
Only a few more years now and the Uno will not be 'old', it will be 'properly old', and it will be less of an embarassment and more of an amazement that it is still on the road...
I'd secretly like a Stilo Abarth to drive around in, so it would be 'new'.
I think I like my Uno best of my three, umm, four cars... but there is the snag that it is 'old'. Once I have it shining like a new one, this will be less of a problem.

Actually I have some grocery shopping to do. Right now. It's been several weeks so it's now an essential. I could use my scooter, but that's about half a week's groceries - I want to do the job properly! The license fee ran out on my Alfa 164 in February, and on my X1/9 last week. The 164 is out on the driveway, the Celica in the garage. The Celica is missing the sunroof panel, tail lights, and sundry other bits.
What does all this leave? The Uno! It's been buried in the garage for a month or so now... It's split CV boot won't matter (the roads are dry) and there's only about twenty things piled in the garage behind it (so, ten minutes to move 'em all).
I'm off! Don't try to hold me back! I don't CARE what the people at the supermarket think of my Uno (with half the side in primer grey) - what can compare with the satisfaction of reviving the Uno (again!)
The sight of the boost gauge spinning past the 1, the thrill of the steering tugging as the wheels spin... What is life, if you're always in control?
