I have just joined this forum. I own a Fiat Uno 60SX 1992 i.e.. My vacuum advance rubber pipe has come off from the engine bay. It is still attached to the distributor. Can someone please tell me where it fits on the engine? Thank you

Been a LONG time since Ive done this..

I LOVED the Uno..
I would put my 1248 diesel in one

Mointing is most probably at a low point on the throttlebody : carburettor

Point the hose that way.. it will be roughly that distance

Hi, Unless its a LHD import, then it wont be a 60SX, it`ll either be a 1.1 60S or a 1.4 70SX, which have different engines. I suspect it`ll be a 60S (as theres only 1 or 2 70SX`s left!), which will have the 1108cc FIRE engine, in which case the pipe will go round the back of the SPI units base.

Check the actual advance as well (suck gently on the pipe to make sure there's resistance), as its a common failure & will cause horrible running/no idle.

Presumably it is a FIRE engine.

I have a 1.0 ie though.
Would a picture of my injector... help?
