Hi guys, so I'm a new Uno owner, got her 2 weeks back. :slayer: Now let me start by telling you about the car.
The previous owner did not give a damn for a service or even basic maintanance :bang: (like cleaning the car). When i got her she took a good 10 min to start, hot or cold.
Now i went got a service kit, carb rebuild kit, new feul pimp ect. She starts better but still struggles, have to keep the revs above 1500rpm, anything lower and she dies. Idling solenoid works fine.
Now where I need you clever people, there is some vacuum lines blocked of on the carb and I would like to get everything sorted. Can anyone share a vacuum diagram or talk me through it? Car runs rich and is extremely thirsty, I also don't see a air mixture screw
thanx in advance(y)

Spark plug leads
Rotor arm
Distributor cap
Ignition timing

Cylinder compression tests - Still to do it
Spark plugs - New plugs
Spark plug leads - Leads still good

Rotor arm
Distributor cap

First want to sort the over fueling issue before I start working on distributor

Ignition timing - Checked

You would be better served to sort out the complete ignition system before touching the carb.

Loads of people mess with the carb only to find they had an ignition fault not a carb fault.

Have you already stripped it cleaned it and fitted rebuild kit?

Rebuild kit is fitted. Checked the timing again today, was out by 90'. Car is much better but startd mis firing at higher revs. Will check the timing again tomorrow

The Ignition timing must by checked using a timing strobe light aimed at flywheel timing marks, vacuum advance pipe disconnected, engine rpm less than 900rpm (engine cranking on starter motor rpm is ok).

Float level... its critical on these carbs, from memory I think its 15mm from the float to the carb lid just as the needle valve is closing.
