hi hoping to get some good advice.
Uno 1100 weber carb 1992 model

once i use my choke, even on a minimum,it floods so much that i have to remove the plugs to clean.
if i dont clean it and drive it as is,the engine drives underpowered, till i clean the plugs.
its petrol on the plugs, not oil.

should it not have removed the excess petrol while driving for 30 mins?
thanks for suggestions

How old are the spark plugs?
It leads ok?
Rotor arm?
Distributor cap?
Ignition coil?

spark plugs 2 months young
disytributor bought a year ago,cap and rotor in good condition
coil im not sure about

i think i should just get new plugs and see if that remedies it?

Hi All

it sounds to me like the arm that gives throttle offset it not connected so the choke blocks the flow but doesnt give any throttle opening to compensate.

or the choke butterfly is freely moving when it shouldnt, or the choke throttle unloader arm is not working.

yes new plugs would be good and dont clean with a wire brush, if you use a brake cleaner spray then it evapourates very quickly leaving the plug dry.
