hello guys.i have a fiat uno mk1 45s fire 1.0l with 45 hp bought at 1988 by my mother.I want to make it hillclimb suitable.My question is what engine can i fit because i saw in other posts that the 1.4T of the normal uno does nto fit in the fire.Thank you very much and im eagerly waiting for your opinion.

You can fit 1.4 T.i.e. in to it but I think you need to change about everything under the bonnet. So it would be easier to buy Turbo Uno instead or if you find very cheap front cut of Turbo Uno.

Ps. 1.3 and 1.4 Turbo i.e. engines have basicly the same engine block. So you can fit 1.4 T.i.e. internals to 1.3 T.i.e. And if you happen to find naturally aspired 1.4 head, it has bigger inlet valves so it is better base to start with.

i have found an uno 90 1.4 turbo and i was planning on buying it and just putting evreything in my 45s because it is full of rust.it will work right?

Yes you can use parts from rusted out Turbo Uno.
There are small differences in that being mk2 though.
