Hi.

I got my uno a good few years ago. It needed a bit of welding when it failed it's MOT. I started, but never finished.

I don't really want to scrap the car...well not yet.

I would rather sell it on for £100. I may be able to help with delivery, depending on how far you are. I am in Wiltshire.

My other thought is to find someone who is ok with welding and knows their way around uno cars. I would consider paying someone to do the work, though the payment needs to be small amounts each month.

Both sills were rusted, so I purchased 2 new sills. I was part way through replacing one of them. Floor pan needed replacing. I was part way doing that.

I see that the square box section at the rear under the boot is rusted.

It needed a new exhaust. I got that.

It needed a break master cylinder. I replaced that.

By now, it needs the cam belt replaced. I ordered, but never collected.

Both front doors were rusted at the bottom. I got second hand doors shipped to me, but never got to putting them on. I still have them in my shed.

If someone were to do the work for me, please quote. I don't want to be signing a blank cheque.

I expect that the car is not an economical fix, but I liked the car and the fuel economy was fantastic.

What do people in the group think?
