Technical Uno inner CV boot

Hi,
Does anyone know if the inner CV joint boot, (the end that goes into the gearbox), is a 'wet boot'? In other words does the boot itself stop the oil from leaking out of the gearbox?

Reason I ask is I have gearbox oil dripping from the one boot where the long clamp goes around the boot at the gearbox end.

I'm wondering if it's just the clamp that needs to be pulled up tighter. The boot itself is in good condition.

Probably yes (boot holds oil, seal is installed directly on the axle, boot clamps on it). Mine was like that (Uno 1,4), see pictures.
