Electric fuel pump instead of mechanic, and hose diameter

Hi
Are the fuel hoses diameter 8mm or 10mm?
In the pic number 3 is smaller than the others.

I want to change to electric fuel pump but it's only got Inlet and Outlet.
The mechanical pump has 3, one goes to carburator, one from the tank and the smaller (3) goes back to the tank.

Do I need a T piece?
How do I connect it? 1+3 to inlet, 2 to outlet?

greetings!

you would have to install a T piece, since the regulation of the fuel delivery to the carb is no longer controlled by engine speed, but by the needle valve in the carburettor float chamber.
(remember the mechanical pump delivers fuel based on the rev of the engine)

Once there is sufficient fuel in the carb the return pipe on the T piece will alleviate the pressure and prevent flooding.

Questions;
why are you converting to an electric fuel pump?
what the is pressure value of the electric fuel pump that you intend installing?

Hi, I'm changing the camshaft from the 999 to Punto 866 one.
So it doesn't support the mechanical pump anymore.

It's an "always on" type, 3-5psi it says.
