Hi,
I have an Uno 1100, (South African model), fitted with a Weber 32 TLF carb. The engine was recently rebuilt, new pistons, rings, etc, etc. Ever since getting the car back she has a 'hesitation' when driving at a steady speed. I've checked the timing, stripped the carb which are both okay. If while driving at a steady speed I pull the choke out the hesitation goes away and she feels quite normal. To my mind this means that the fuel mixture is too lean and by pulling the choke it enriches the mixture. There are no vacuum leaks but something appears to be making her run lean.
Any ideas anyone?
