Tick Over problem. Wait for fan to cut in. Then disconnect batery for 10 mins. Then reconnect. Start engine and rev up to 2500-3000rpm until fan cuts in again. The turn igntion off for 1 minute. This should reste the autoadapt on the vehice

Doors cheap as poss:
You find them at a scrapyard, or even buy a scrap/wrecked one with half decent doors and dismantle it yourself, then sell off other good surplus parts - you should end up in profit that way, but you trade off time, work, and mess.

Don't dismantle an engine fire damaged one.

If you get a breakers agent to find them there'll be 2 lots of profit before you see them.

I understood the method was to start, then not touch the pedals while it sorted itself out. It seems to work on the Panda CLX.

What is the source for your method?
My source is "Haynes"....:I

Cheers FiatExpert,

I will try that and let you know if it works, and as for not touching the pedals it won't tick over john so that won't work (at this time).

I meant not touching the pedals after the battery disconnection:
the ECU settings will be (almost certainly) different from where they currently are, and it's likely to be in "find out what settings I need to get correct speed tick-over and correct mixture/Lambda" mode too.

The other option, if none of this works for you, is that you are a tooth or two out in the belt replacement B)

Let us know how you get on.

Regards
