well i just returned from the garage after have a bit of trouble with the cars handling

uno start, 999 1994 fire engine SPI

i figgered i knocked the wheel alignment out after a nasty spill with a pothole. the guy at the garage said fire it up on the ramp and ill align the wheels up for 15£. ive been going to the fella for years and hes an honest enuf. he asked me what kind of problems i was having. i told him the cars been behaving strangly after i hit a pothole a few days ago. so he had another look at the car and told me the front left shock is should be relpaced. but to do both the front to keep the car balanced.

he doesnt offically replace them so he said to me if i can get him the shocks he'll fit them. for a small fee ofcourse.[8D] he said i could grab a part of them for under 30£.......imagine my disappointment when i went for a price check at my local autostore. 35£ each monroe brand. plus vat. what a biatch...does anyone have anyidea when i car grab a set of front shock for a reasonable price or is 35£ eack good?

PS i found a set of monroe front shocks for a festia a m8 of mine is selling them brand new. will these work??

will be waiting anxiously on your response, thanx lads

Hei.

I changed mine (all four) to Monroe "Sensatrack". 35£ is insanely cheap according to Norwegian prices. Chenge your springs at the same time, because the mechanic has to remove them anyway.

Check with Monroe if the Fiesta uses the same shocks. I doubt it...

Morten.
