Hello to all fans of fiat cars, I write from Italy and have joined this forum since 2015, I have read many topics from the first page until the last page, I was impressed by the passion that exists outside from Italy for Fiat cars. after reading the many projects here now is the time to present my project.

Uno turbo is with me since 2006 useless telling you the endless adventures that we lived together, beautiful and ugly too, my experiments, tuning ... what she has seen ...
Finally, after all the vicissitudes I can set the day zero
These photos date back to September:

It was just finished the pyrolysis treatment, which removed any thing that is not solid metal.
Then it has been soaked in acid to remove residual oxidation and after he made a further bathroom painting by electrodeposition.

A surreal vision!

Ten years dream of seeing her reborn, I can not describe the emotion.

The first thing to do now is to hide all body parts (sides and roof) as exterior painting, will be the only job (cataphoresis separately) that I will do to a professional.

Then it's time to give a two-component epoxy primer to all the other parts, engine compartment, passenger compartment and underbody

crucial third phase: the sealant, damn that I was (along with a close friend) to scrape from every orifice.
Among other things levandolo I have noticed that the technique with which it was applied in the so-called fiat technique cazzum (a bit like the welds), in fact I found areas where accumulations as if they forgot with obvious consequences. At this stage I will devote a lot of attention and I'm going to use the best possible product.

Fourth phase paint any parts not masked with two-component polyurethane paint of the original color.

completed these four steps I can screw the first bolt.

almost finished to seal all, sealant 2kg are barely less than what I needed.
I also painted the underbody with the two-component polyurethane paint although it will be almost completely covered by a stone chip protection in the most certainly does not hurt, anti black crushed stone 3kg with its gun to do all the underbody.

Night after night I'm painting the interior and the engine compartment ..
I paint them at night to avoid intoxication of the neighborhood and thus avoid arguments, I had to construct the compressor in a soundproof box to make no noise etc ..

however, in the midst of many difficulties to restore in a box slightly larger than the car slowly something comes out ..
I sanded all the primers first with a 200 dry then with a 400 to water, I must say a pleasant job to do, then the primer has a consistency that facilitates much the task.
Then I sucked out with a vacuum cleaner, blown with compressed air, and then degreased thoroughly with suitable product, this work however I must say it was quite boring ..
Then finalemte the paint, I diluted to the maximum possible, here a few photos of the interior fleeting after the second hand still wet
