Hey everyone,

First off, I would like just to say how awesome this forum is! I'm from NZ and its just awesome to see so many people who have unos :)! I have seen like 3 here ever.

I have a 1989 First Gen Fire 45, and my passenger door is open, and permanently locked.

Unfortunately for me, this morning my sister seemed to have broken my front passenger side door lock. It is one of the push button locks, and what happened was that when she was trying to open the door, the button got stuck (Would post a photo but 5 post rule), and then nothing was happening. I used the key to turn the lock and get the button out, opening the door. Then she got in and tried to close the door, but now the door is permanently locked. It doesn't matter whether I unlock or lock the door, but the door just sits there locked.

Can anyone help me?

P.S. Does anyone know if a second gen center console would fit in my uno? I would like a center console (one that goes to the handbrake), but can't seem to find any parts for this gen.

Update: Nah got it fixed, turns out the lock was pushed back, was just a matter of pushing up the locked part of the door, then sliding forward the big metal connector of the door with a screwdriver. 5 minute fix haha
