Hi all,

I have a spares/repairs Red (pink now due to faded paintwork) MK2 Fiat Uno that has failed its' MOT - I believe on rust.
I dont want it, but I dont want to scrap it either due to everything (other than the subframe) being in great condition.

Engine (999cc Fire) is is superb condition
The instrument panel with the rev counter too, not just speedo as per most Unos
Even has a digital clock.
Clear indicators

I dont want any money for it but I simply cannot bear to imagine that it has all been crushed, given how rare these Unos are these days and the ammount of pristine condition parts there are containted within/ on it

I'm not going to let people pick and choose their parts and ask me to strip it - Im on the other side of the country I'm afraid! Ideally it will be taken in one go, on a trailer!

Need this gone by tomorrow midday (2nd August), as it is sitting on the garage forecourt.

If no replies, it'll end up even more cube shaped.

Put some photos.. to tempt the waverers..

It's a Fiat Uno.
Everything is in great condition, bar the subframe and engine mouting points.


Its being taken away tomorrow by the scrapyard unless anyone contacts me or says so on here!

Im sure AlexGS, LouieB and others would remember the amount of time and effort I spent publishing guides on how to do stuff to Fiat Unos, all done on this very Uno.

Hope not too late and car already crushed. I see you would like your Uno to be taken in one go ideally, otherwise I'm interested in a number of items (e.g. front seat, rear tailgate) but difficult without photos and I'm based in Sheffield. Let me know if anything still available. I'm sure you would get some interest in the Uno on eBay etc if you posted there.

Hi varesecrazy,

Do you mean 'gone' as in at breaker's yard now (crushed or awaiting) or that you're the new owner (hands off ). Do you have any plans to break the car at some point?

I enquired about the car , but it had already been towed away, :bang:
poor car..

Gutted I`ve only just seen this, I have a spare subframe you could have had, & I need parts for my one & would have paid as well. I bet its gone to a scrappy that will just immediately squash it too..

Really gutted. You should have belled me, Chaz or Jai!
