Had a Uno in for ignition module that kept blowing after a few days.
Now I must state the module(s) where not genuine Fiat units.
After some head scratching I let the car warm up at idle until the radiator fan cycled a few times.
I then took temperature measurements - Distributor - 71degC
Ignition module - 67degC
This is all that I could think that would have been causing the damage, so I relocated the ignition module to the inner fender (just 2 wires from the pickup that need extending) I used an old module to blank off the hole.
Temp of module has dropped to 27degC and touch wood the car is still running strong.
