Styling What color on my uno turbo?

I had a play with photoshop earlier, and coloured my Mrk1s bumpers body colour and it looks pretty good. I'll post up a pic later as the original is on my mates comp.

Continued on from my previous mention of coloured bumpers

It's photoshopped, and rather badly, but give you an idea.

The rims are chopped on too - but they are Momos.

It has Black With Polished Lip Momos on it currently, looks just as good. I was just having some fun.

The colour of my uno is 'Azzuro Egeo' whatever the heck that translates too lol.

And currently mine is black bumpered, but IMO for what it's worth, the coloured bumpers make the car look much more modern.

Muzzie, I've never heard of that colour - Aegean Blue... or seen it in NZ!
Or, maybe that's the same colour as some base 45 models I've seen.

I colour just the bottom of my bumpers, as in https://www.fiatforum.com/showthread.php?t=29508
and the 45 and 60 attached.

You think you guys have tricky decisions... I have to decide whether to put the back of a Mk2 onto my Mk1 turbo... ;)

That blue was only available on the base models in the UK. My first mk1 was in that blue and was a totally bog standard 45, 4 speed box and no creature comforts!

Looks good!

Alex, you've got it the wrong way round. People put the mk1 back onto a mk2, not the other way round! You'll lose the funky plastic tailgate with built in spoiler if you go for a mk2 rear end!

I though the wheels looked kind of strange, but couldn't place it. Now all is revealed, they were photoshopped to a different colour. They look good in silver (y)

According to AltaVista translation, that means 'Aegean Azzuro'. Obviously the Aegean is a sea in the Mediterranean, so I gather that 'Azzuro' is some kind of blue colour that doesn't translate? Maybe it means 'ocean blue'?

Yes, but the whole point of a mk1 is that it is RETRO! It stands out because it isn't modern, so keep the bumpers black or go half black/ half painted like Alex's Unos (y)

Nup, they are two different wheels. The ones that are shopped on there are Silver Momos. I have some completely different unrealted ones, that are also Momo, but have a polished lip and black centres. I'll get a pic at some point.

I've checked the colour spelling  It's 'Azzurro Egeo', does that translate better?

Yeah, I think I might do what Alex did, and do the bottom half. It'll not only be much easier to do (masking a strip like mine will be a pain in the backside!) but it does look good too. And I'll just paint the middle black so it's shiny, and maybe along the top of the bumper under the lights and grille blue as well, so it is infact a 'strip' and not a 'half' as it were.

Chances are it'll be a show off type car of some sort so whatever I do, it needs to look good :)

Heres a pic of it chopped (again) but with the current wheels it has (although they have been stretched slightly hehehe, they're smaller than that but I don't have the ORIGINAL pic on the comp, only chopped ones  ).
