Too right ;)

I have a set of 4 disputed Uno turbo alloys that are in need of new tyres and a re–furb. https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=639

AND

I have a set of 5 MK1 Uno Turbo alloys lying around – good tyres – need a refurb. https://www.fiatforum.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=4094&cat=635

Make us an offer - you never know.

Regards,

EDIT - I knew I shouldn't have sold the Bianca

Cheers Chris (y)

I got a touch of laziness:( and still haven’t got round to tiding them alloys up, and getting tyres fitted

I’m thinking it could well be the end of the road for my Uno soon as the sills look bad – If I’d have seen how bad  , I wouldn’t have sold Bianca.

This Uno’s life depends how much Cooper West quote to fix her up, and if she fails MOT on anything else big (before getting welding done).

If Cooper West ask for quite a lot, theres a good garage at the top of the mile road (cant remember the proper road name- thats its local name  )

Its in Carrington as your going towards Partington, on your left as you turn at the lights (y)

It would be a shame to let your Uno go to waste, the bodywork looks in excellent condition.

Theres a few sets of alloys suitable for an Uno on ebay at the mo.

14" AEZ alloys

True that, Louie.

It seems that in the last month prices have gone up loads!

There was an Uno for sale in Flixton a few weeks ago, a mk1, for nearly £600! Its gone, so i can only guess that its been sold!

The one on autotrader is the same colour as the one i saw for sale :chin: but the one on autotrader looks in better condition.

Maybe everyones getting rid of there red mk1s :p

really liking the second set or wheels on ebay!!..only problem is collecting them.is there any1 near milton keynes or in milton keynes getting rid of some alloys?

Louie i doooooo like those first set of alloys but just a bit to far to travel if i did buy them of u

If the second set went cheap enough you could perhaps get them delivered.

Alessio Monzas look very good on Unos (but i am biased :p ) and they are very rare nowadays as Alessio stopped making Monzas in 14".

www.parcel2go.com are a very good and competitive company for delivery.

Aha, the secret's out! Unos are cult cars and are bound to appreciate in value along the lines of a mk2 Jaguar :p

Seriously, what with spiralling fuel costs, not to mention the costs of running an older 'modern' car with all the electronic trickery that WILL go wrong eventually, suddenly a Uno looks very attractive. Simple, very cheap to run and fix, reliable and still able to keep up with modern traffic. Also very practical and can carry a large amount of stuff for such a small car.

Either that or all the turbo boys are pushing prices up trying to reshell their rotten tubs!

I'm keeping hold of mine, though I'm hoping the MOT isn't going to spring up any nasties in November...

I tooooooooooooooooooold you to hold onto Bianca Louie! :p

Sorry to hear about your mk2, surely the sills aren't that bad are they? At least sills are fairly easy to weld up if need be. The rest of the car looks in good shape, so it would be a shame to break it just for the need of a few bits of welding.

As for the mk1 Turbo alloys, I should have swiped them when you weren't looking and fitted some old steels in their place ;)

Doesn't look like I'm going to get much done on my Uno for a while as college is taking up a LOT of my time...

Chas

No problem (y)

Anyways – thanks for the support guys (y) I’ve just got back from the garage. The sills are no where near as bad as I thought :woot: the quote is looking more than tempting (y) so it looks like my Uno sills will pass the MOT :). I just have to get the front fogs working and fix the front bumper to the arch protectors and (knock on wood) all will be good.

Good luck with the studies.

Since you started college, you seem to be posting more than usual ;).

:hm:  that’s how it all started last time with Dunc posting Bianca. :chin: Think I’ll pass on that Uno .

She could be older than Chas’s Uno :p

Now if Dunk’s friend was to take a shine to that MK1, maybe I could get Bianca back :spin: :tempt:.
