Hi all,

I have a Mk1 Uno Turbo (1.3) complete engine that I'm going to rebuild and transplant into my fuel injected X1/9 (North American).

I removed the main & crank bearings on the Mk1, and they look similar if not exact to the 1500cc X1/9 main & crank - but I can't find any info to support this. The UnoT was never sold in North America, so finding parts isn't easy. X1/9 engine parts are relatively easy to find. I've googled and haven't found any info. I believe the UnoT block that I have is from an '86.

Any info would be greatly appreciated regarding the bearings, cross reference, confirm X1/9 vs Mk1UnoT are the same, suppliers, etc..

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. They look the same and fit, but I've seen three hole oil passages on UnoT replacement bearings and the X1/9 are two hole.

My UnoT engine has two hole, and I was assuming the three hole design is for the oil passage through the con rod up to the "squirters". Although they're similar engines, there are unique attributes throughout the series - especially the turbo motors.

I don't want to blow it up :)

Are there any good online parts suppliers in the UK for engine parts? I've looked online, but many sites just come up as No Longer Available.

Thanks!
