Hello, i'm putting my old radio into a friends fiat uno for him but i'm having a bit of trouble. When i took his original radio out it was clear the connections wouldn't fit into the new radio so i went off to halfords to a get an adaptor. When i tryed to put that in the connections wouldn't fit. So i took it back the bloke at halfords said that was the only one they did for the uno and when he looked connection at the back of the original uno radio he said it was very weird and not really seen one like it before. He suggested that i should cut them off and solder new ones on but as its not my car i'm doing it to i don't really want to do this. Has anyone any suggestions how to convert the original wiring to ISO?

Hei.

This I have done. For information, it's from 1994. There is nothing in there that even looks like a standard. Actually, the black wire was NOT ground, but 12V+, so USE A VOLTMETER. There are 3 wires you should connect to one of the ISO-blocks, and those are 12V+ continously from the battery, 12V+ from the ignition, and ground. You can also get grounding from the chassis somewhere. But you propably won't be able to do this without, as Halfords said, cutting some wires. I don't think any Uno has an ISO standard on the radio.

2002 Uno Fiat engine done up head scimmed and bore new pistons. Jerks at times... Fan belt came off twice after some noise... Seems too small? What to do?
