hi fellow Fiat Users

Can any one assist me on how to fill the gearbox oil on a 1400 Uno Pacer SX Car. I am struggling 2 select gears every time I want to after the car have been standing for longer periods and sometimes when I want to execute change downs especially in colder climate conditions . I am now suspecting that this might be due to low level of gearbox oil but I'm not certain.......part of me tells me that it's most probably the gear box that is wearing off/worn out

Can anyone please ASSIST

this is correct,

with car parked on LEVEL ground remove the plug and ( carefully)use the allen-key as a "dipstick",
the oil level SHOULD be level with the hole, BUT a little bit lower is O.K.,

if no oil can be seen,
top-up with a syringe until oil comes from this hole,
then replace plug, as stated you MAY have good oil level - BUTa worn gearbox, OR wear / stiffness in the gear selector mechanism,
