For what it's worth, I've been caught up in the Uno 'red' issue before
854/F is described as 'Rosso' on the car, 'Rosso Chiera' in the paint code books.
140 is 'Rosso Corsa'.
That other code (113) I think is a Mk2 colour, I haven't seen it on a Mk1. So, if you have a Mk2, I reckon go for the 113 colour first?
854/F looks slightly lighter and 'glowing' compared with 140, hence its 'cherry red' name. Louie's Uno looks much more 'lipstick red' (darker) than either 140 or 854/F, though it could just be a trick of the light?
Whatever you do Bushboy, don't try to match the faded, oxidised colour - always polish up the red first! Because all three 'reds' end up the same after a year in the weather - a nasty brown-orange matt colour.
Speaking of polishing, that's a great job Louie!
Rosso Shiraz Met. 128 is the colour of a Tipo I have at the moment, ironically enough.
Cheers,
-Alex
