Hi all,

Been looking around for some Mrk 2 rear lights in blue for about 2 months now, with no joy I thought i'd try my luck here... Anyone who wants to part with them, or know where I'd be able to get hold of a pair, i'd be very greatfull.

Hi Chris, yeah im looking for some rear light cluster lenses in blue... I did see some on ebay for a mrk 1 uno turbo, so i know there out there. Thought i might try my luck here but its not looking good is it. lol.

Back in the 90`s you could get (Hella?) coloured lenses that allowed the right coloured light to shine through, I dont think they did them for the Uno though, it was more Golfs & Escorts.

You might be able to get clear lenses (very rare) & then use coloured translucent light spray to tint them, but you will have to make sure the proper coloured light shines through them. Even so, the Police may decide they arent legal & force you to take them off.

Some people spray a light film of paint on them, but I wouldnt advise that as it makes the light almost invisible, especially when its sunny.

Another alternative is to cover the lenses with blue tights (yes, ladies tights!)

& no, mine are both Mk2 60S`s!

I was told that mrk1 rear light lenses wouldn't fit a mark 2 uno... If I was miss informed i'm gonna be feeling propa gutted about this nice, i've owned my uno for about 9 years now... decided its about time i finished it off

Sorry to bring bad news but they won't fit the MK2 unless...

you fit a MK1 tail gate, strike plate, parcel shelf, bits each side of parcel shelf where tiny speakers go, and the MK1 lamp holder back box.

It's kind of why there are separate MK1 and 2 rear lights with separate part numbers

Sorry, I forgot you said yours was a Mk2! lol

There are custom rear lights for the Mk2, but not in the UK, IIRC they were in Brazil, they probably wouldnt meet our regs either.

I already know this... hence, why I didn't get them mate the picture was to bring light to what I actually wanted to get... for a mrk 2 uno turbo.
