my car is at the mechanic's garage!! Having gearbox removed because there is a leak from a cap of the engine. It has to be changed and to access it the gearbox has to come out. Part costs 5 pounds but I got around 70pounds labour!!(

£70 labour not that bad, you could get them to stick a new clutch in whilst box is out

70 GBP? Haha... One HOUR cost the same over here, and I doubt it is done in that time.

You know it would cost around 1000GBP to fit a diesel engine to a car instead of a petrol one here in malta!! my previous car a daihatsu charade with a 1.3 16V was changed to a toyota 1.5 turbo diesel. With custom made engine mounts including a full engine and gearbox and fitting!!

The car is ready btw...its ok!!
