Hi Friends,
My Uno 1.0 i.e having slight coolent leak just below the clutch and engine block connecting point. Might be due to a worn out core plug no?:bang: My problem is is any core plugs are located in this area? (gear box and engine block connecting place.) If so do I able to replace the plug with out taking the engine out? One more friends? Do any one knows the size of it? Taking the engine out means I'll be in a deep prolem. I hate local garages who burning our time:cry:.
thanks for u'r concerns,
Any one please advice me?

There is a core plug on the end of the block and it probably is the cause of the leak as you describe it. You will have to remove the gearbox of course, which will mean removing the left side suspension and driveshaft. However, you could keep the engine in situ doing this if you wanted to, with a suitable support. Believe core plug there is 50mm exactly. Hopefully someone else can confirm.

Thanks Lewevy for u'r concern. In the hynes manual also no details regarding core plugs. I think forum member will help me. Thanks again(y)
