Styling 2005 FIAT Uno???

Hi All,
serin said:
your first car was BIEGE :yuck:
– well observant there Serin :yuck:

:) My Gran bought the 903 Formula 45 in 1986. Rest her soul… the car matched nearly all her jackets lol.

There are other pictures in my gallery of the car I passed my test in ten years later. I got 103 MPH out of her down hill – but not on the test lol.

If only she had of used car shampoo instead of washing up liquid, and dried it off before parking in the garage… the Uno that did about 4,000 miles a year may still be on the road. The rust had already bubbled a little when I bought her. TBH Student life also took its toll… I’m not going to let that happen again – Promise.

Regards all,

hate the front, like the back (y)

Doesn't parts of eastern Europe still have Mk2 Uno's around? They might have stopped making them now, but I believe that was in 1998 or 1999?

Also, I heard about those later ones were available in 2.0 Sport models or something?

Anyway know what I'm talking about?!?
I like the idea of going to Poland or wherever and driving back a newer/better Uno.

The Fiat Panda 4x4 1.0 FIRE had 50bhp compared with the 45 bhp that the standard 1.0 had. It was, to my knowledge, the only 1.0 litre variant of the FIRE engine that came with extra power. I'd like to know where the extra 5 bhp came from! Anyone know? Different camshaft/ ignition/ carburetor?

Re: 2005 FIAT Uno - http://uno.ne1.net/

Nice one Chris (y) I’d missed that a few weeks ago lol!

From your website’s link, I reckon the extra HP comes partly from Multi Point Injection:- “Injeção eletrônica MAGNETI MARELLI / MPI IAW 4AFB, multiponto semi-sequencial indireta”.

 0 – 100 KM/Hour in 15.2 seconds – “0 a 100 Km/h 15,2 s”.

Not bad!

Regards All,

I quite like the front... i think the back lets it down... especially like this sportier looking one.

is that front similar to the new panda? (going to have a look)

Would be better in a 3 door though.

Wonder if anyone would ever import one of these.

I like the front wiper blade that rests on UK drivers’ side – Like on our MK1.

:p I used to soak my passengers as they climbed in on rainy days. In fact  would a Mk1 front wiper motor fit a Mk2? I’d be after a 3-speed one… so new switch lol.
