Hi all,
I have Fiat Uno 900. When I'm speeding at about 110 km/h and I have a throttle pedal fully pressed, I try to LFB on my brake and i can't press it. It seems like it is blocked. When I release the throttle to about 1/3 i can brake.
Is it normal?
Thanks in advance

The whole point of that is I want to do Left Foot Braking in my car and I want my back of car sliding.

The brake servo work off suction. On a petrol car the suction is taken from the inlet manifold (or there abouts) as when the butterfly valve is less than fulley open it's under negative air pressure.

Now you want the servo to help brake when the butterfly is fulley open - the servo can't help you without that negative pressure, but you could brake without it, you'll need to press really hard - like when the engine is not running or on a non servo asisted car (y) Don't snap the brake peddle though - it's not good at 120.

Kind of why one foot should be used for one or the other :bang:

hmmm... Thats about 65mph right?

I trust you are doing this on a track, not a public road?

Firstly, the main issue is the brakes should be set up 70 front, 30 rear, so left foot braking while booting the throttle won't make the rear end come out.

You're best options are:
-buy a RWD, and continue the way you are trying,
-tug the hand brake slightly and throw the wheel to the side,
-or, come off the throttle quick, throw the wheel to the side, and hammer the brake.

Obviously be ready to correct. But if your trying to drift you need to know what your doing... Or just get a RWD...
