How much liters does it consumes if driving easy 80 km/h on a straight road?
How much the engine kilomethers cann go bifore its end?

Please say whathewer you now abouth this car.

And sorry on my bad english.

Hi there,

The 1.5 litre Uno was never available in the UK, which is probably why no-one has yet responded. A bit of a shame as the 1500 engine would make the Uno quite a torquey little car.

As for what to look out for, well, RUST is the enemy of all old Unos! I've had a look at the pictures you linked to and to be honest the car in it looks a bit on the rough side to put it mildly. It looks like it's already had some welding done on the front turrets and the visible bodywork looks tatty with rust visible around the edges of the doors and wheel arch. The front wing and bonnet also look like replacements.

What you really need to check are the sills (inner and outer), floor pans and rear turrets. If these are solid then it may well be worth saving as the 1.5 Uno is quite a rare car. At least it is in the UK as I've only ever seen one (an import) come up for sale. You also need to do the usual checks on the engine (smoke, tapping/ noises) and also the gearbox (whining, grinding, crunching gears). The suspension and brakes are all still available and easy enough to replace so those aren't too much of a worry.

As to what their fuel consumption is like, I would assume they would be similar to my 1.3 70SX Uno (with Weber carburettor) that uses a smaller version of the 1.5 engine. Especially as it appears that the 1.5 Uno you showed is an "i.e." injection model so that should make it a little more economical compared with a carburettor model. You can check my Fuelly log for my 1.3 70SX to get an idea of what sort of consumption might be likely:

Good luck and let us know if you decide to buy the car and feel free to ask for any further advice.

Looks a good restoration project but quite a lot of work and time to get that Uno into nice condition again. It is an unusual specification, has 'retro' Mk1 charm, and that rear badge must be really rare. It will be quite gutsy when you get it running and I like that dark blue when it's shiny (but it is quite hard to keep that way).

If you are just wanting a cheap runaround, I suggest an Uno with the FIRE engine instead (999cc/1108cc).
