Hi
I`ve just popped in from the cinq forum,i was wondering what size mk2 turbo alloys are.The ones i like are the same design as cinq sporting ones. There was a set of them on ebay in 14" but i`m not sure what model fiat they came off.
Also has anyone got any mk1 turbo brake calipers for sale?must be usable condition and cheap.
Cheers
Adrian

ther are four spoke alloys on the coupe.....its not them is it??

No
the ones on the coupe are more modern looking the ones i`m interested in are very 80`s looking and all cinq sportings had them fitted as standard in a 13" and i was thinking of fitting 14"s but keeping the original look.
Thanks for the reply

Hi
The problem is the offset on a cinq it`s 30mm and on an uno i believe it`s 45mm(but that might just be the turbo)
Cinq sporting wheels are quite pricey second hand because people with standard cinq`s buy them also most guys fit 175/50/13 tyres which are quite expensive for the size.
Hope this helps

ok then thts that idea out the window, just want some cheap alloys for my uno, but will i end up apyin more insurance if i have alloys on my car?

aslo, if you know, will fitting a boss kit and steering wheel make my insurance go up?

cheers

Hi
If your quite young any modifications from standard will increase your premium and if you don`t declare them your insurance could be void.
The only way you might be able to fit alloys is if they were avaliable as an optional extra and could have been fitted as standard.so it may be worth looking at original pics of unos the same as yours.
Cheers

Adrian, the alloys you mean are Tipo alloys.

Uno turbos came with 13s whereas tipos came with 14s but the style was the same.

A bit of other info for you... the design of the alloys you mean were designed that way to aid brake cooling!!

Charlie, swap your insurance to CIS and they dont put ur premium up for modifications.

Cheers Chris
Those wheels are well cheap!shame they`re not the ones i`m after i would have snapped them up.
also do you know what offset tipo rims would be?theres a guy on here with some on an uno turbo replica so i`d imagin the offset is 45mm.
