good day. im having problem with the cap on my gas tank. it was on standby for 2 mos. and when i open it to have it refilled with gas i cant open it.
my brother in law forced it and almost broke my 1 and only key. damn. good i had it duplicated.... its stuck and still i cant open it. any suggestions how i can easily open it... thanks

If I were in the same position as you, apart from trying the above, I'd work out if it is the cap that is stick or the lock mechanism itself - have you tried WD40 in the lock to loosen it up a little?

Does the key actually turn in the lock?

If so, turn the key to open the cap, and then using a hammer and chisel (or screwdriver) try to turn the cap round.
