right, some help here would be great.

K reg uno in racing red 113.
L reg uno in racing red 113.
spray can from halfords, racing red 113.

none of them match :bang: (at all)

my l reg uno, i fitted some doors from a k reg on, and they are apparently the same colour, dont appear to have ever been sprayed, the new doors are very bright and orange looking, my car is darked shade of red, iv polished them up and it looks even worse.

and racing red from halfords doesnt match either.

its not faded as far as i can tell because i have taken the door strips off and its the same under them.

so, does any one know if there are different varients of this colour? :(

I've parked up next to another red Uno start in Cleethorpes and noticed the other car looked much darker and duller.

I can only assume that the other car was also a 113 (like mine) and remember thinking wow the t cut / Autoglym really works a treat.

Seem to remember the other car was a K reg when mine is an L (y) maybe it’s not the same hue.

theres 3 or 4 shades of most older colours, and different paint manufacturers are slightly different again, best to go to a bodyshop suppliers and get them to get the colour chips out and get them to match it, ours will then fill an aerosol and away you go, you cant tell my uno is a blue shade until you park next to another, blue makes it look cleaner, Ant!

is that just for a few panels!? ask how much if any prep will cost and will it reduce it if you do it yourself?

the panels need filler etc so they would need to do the prep.

and that was for 2 rear quarter panels, i could get it alot cheaper at a cheap bodyshop but this place is probably the most expensive around this area
