hello krissie - ours was registered (on exemption) so it didn't have to be re-vin'd. That would make most unos uneconomic. You could always do some sort of 're-shell' to make a registered-uno ;) keep us posted - start a thread!

hey does any one know what brake discs can fit on the fiat uno 1992 fire model apart from fiat ones for example i want to know if i can fit the corsa 1.2 discs the 1991 model any one know let me know

Why on earth would you want to fit discs meant for a totally different car when there are plenty of new discs available for the Uno? :confused:
 
I split this into a new thread, as it really didn't relate to the project thread it was posted in ;)

I agree with Chas. Correct discs for the standard FIATs are cheap as chips - if I recall correctly, Halfords has them for less than 10 pounds each. If you're trying to upgrade the brakes, that's a different story. No point up-sizing discs without up-sizing calipers as well.
