Hey all!:slayer:

Right im curious if any of you know of any 14 inch steels that any fiats come with?

For my uno turbo (y)

Cheers
Biz

Where do we start... Punto, Tipo, Bravo, Brava, Tempra, Stilo, Marea, Multipla, Croma (old).....

Of course getting the offset correct is the hard part.

I`ve been looking into this too, the Tipo Tempra had 13" steels, most, if not all, of the Bravo/Brava rage were also on 13" steels.

Not sure about the old Croma, or the Multipla (I keep meaning to check the peoples one over the road!).

I think the Argenta & 132 were on 14"`s (& I think the 131 Sport), they`ve got a nice amount of "rimmage" too, but I`m not sure if they`d foul the arches & they arent exactly 10 a penny to check.

I think the RWD ones would work on the Tempra, & therefore the tipo`s too as theres such a huge clearance...

We should really have a sticky (in all the sections) letting everyone check what offsets work on each model & what spacers work otherwise....

I`ve also wondered about the modern Fiats which have bigger steels, especially the commercials which have up to 16"`s I think, but alot are joint ventures with Citroen/Vauxhall/Ford/Suzuki etc, so what are their PCD`s?

Gav nah mate but they might be up for sale shortly!

I was looking into get some banded to accept a good range of tyres and because it was broken into a few weeks back i want to not make it shout I AM A TURBO COME AND STEAL ME again! lol

A lot of the Tipo/Tempra had 14" steel wheels - as did the Bravo/Brava. I think only a few Tipo had 13" wheels. Much, much more likely to have 14s.

Couple years ago I gave away 3 sets of 14" steel wheels off Marea/Bravo.

Tipo 1400 (basic model), 1600 DGT and 1.6SX - which are all the Tipo models I've seen that come with steel wheels - were all 13" as standard. I know the Tipo looks a lot better on 14s - it's a large hatchback - but oddly, most in NZ seem to have come with 13s and big old 175/70 tyres.

I think 1994-1999 Punto 75 or 90 models are the best source for 14" steel wheels to fit an Uno.

I have four brand new 14" steel wheels that are supposedly off a Punto. They are a Fiat fitment (they fitted both the Punto and my Uno) but as I scrapped the Punto I bought them for I never got round to using them.

As above I know that low spec mk1 Puntos had 13" steels but the higher spec models came with 14".

Punto 75 85 and TD 70 in SX trim IIRC anything above that has alloys anything below has 13s

Also depends on what width you want too.

Ok cheers fella

I wanted to get some but banding them by 1"-1.5" is £370!

Fook that ill think of somthing else.

Well if your after `rimmage` cheap, you`d probably be best off looking at the older big RWD Fiats/Lancias & Alfa`s, as I said, the 132/Argenta & 131 Sport had 14" & had a nice degree of dish.

They`d also be retro cool!

No idea where you`d pick em up though...

To be honest, I thought banding was illegal in the UK now.

Another alternative is to remove the entire wheel centres from the rims, turn them round, then re-weld them.

That should work out cheaper than banding labour wise, & be as strong as the originals.

Ive got Alfa Romeo 33 on mine at the moment

I think the wheels attracted the attention but i do have a set of Tempra wheels as well, not sure if i want them on the car yet because of the near theft of it!

I like them... especially on a black car... are they running spacers?

I`ve got a spare Tempra alloy & tyre for my Tempra, I keep meaning to try it on the Uno. I`m gonna ask the people over the road if I can borrow their spare wheel (off the multipla) to see what the clearences are like too.

You`ve got to get rid of the "Formula" graphics though mate!

"Rimmage" - LOL - an interesting term... ;)

Any observers must have thought you were pretty hard-case heading over the street with a ruler to measure the PCD of the world's ugliest car :D

Oh yeah, well we all like a nice ammount of rimmage dont we?

Mate, I even took pictures... lol

I made sure I measured the side against the house (it was on the drive) (y)

To be honest, I quite like the Multipla, its 1 of those cars thats so ugly/weird, its beautiful... to me anyway... like a 500 or an SZ or an Allegro estate for example *cough*.

I was pretty disapointed when they did the bland facelifted one...
