This is just plain WeiRD
Blue2 [our Mk2Blue 2door Sucata Car] has the flasher relay sounding like its clicking all the time the ignition is on
The flashers and hazzards all seem to work OK
I managed to get it to stop clicking for about 30 seconds, by flicking the hazzards on and off, but then it just started clicking again
Anyone have any ideas which bit of the electrical SPagHetti I need to start pulling apart? :D

Interesting fault! :)
Since the indicators/hazard flashers work normally, are you quite certain the clicking is from the flasher relay... is it mounted on the steering column switch unit like it is on the Mk1? Have the connections worked loose?

Is the battery voltage within normal limits with the engine running (12.3-14.4V)?

I guess the next step is to pull relays until the clicking stops, then figure out what doesn't work any more. Sounds hopeless but is effective. I had a similar situation on a Tipo once. A frantic clicking emerged from the footwell whenever the engine was running. The problem was the heater in the intake manifold - it had a short circuit. The simple solution was to remove the relay...

Ta for that
The clicking is coming from the fusebox area above the passenger footwell
I just assumed it was the flasher relay
So I'll start pulling them out to find which one is The CliCkeR :)

By the way the car does NOTcurrently run, so I can't do the voltage runing test ;).....YeT...

The flasher relay on a mk1 Uno is mounted on the steering column. If the mk2 is the same then it won't be the flasher relay unless Fiat relocated it for the mk2 models.

Alex gives the best advice - remove the relays until it stops clicking and then find out which circuit no longer works. Could possibly be the heated rear window relay?

Not on a mk1 ;)
YuP
on a Mk1 the flassher relay is plugged into the base of the steering column indicator stalk

The clicking on our car was the flasher relay, which on the Mk2 in plugged into the fusebox
I have a suspicion its a dodgy earth on one of the back light units
Its stopped doing it all the time now
Seems to come and go for no particular reason

Had a weird one the other day
A clicking like the sound of a fuel pump
Start, stop, fast, slow, coming and going
from the middle of the dashboard
Worked out it was the wiper motor ;)
Stopped doing it once I used the wipers a few times (y)
Italian electrix eh (n)

I had exactly the same problem with my Ulysse, which I know has Peugeot electrics, but it could be the same with the Uno. I had the clicking from the relay, but the indicators worked perfectly. At first it was intermittant and would disappear for days or weeks, then would reappear and became almost constant. The problem was not with the relay, but a build up of fluff and dirt in the switch itself. I suspect it was creating an earth. The simple cure was to remove the switch from the steering column and carefully take the two halves apart, being carefull not lose any components of the switch. Clean all the components, than apply a very small amount of grease or vaseline and reassemble. I did this about 5 or 6 years ago and have not had a repeat of the problem.

Good luck, hope you solve the problem.

Have you tried fixing it with a hammer?
HIT IT HARD AND FAST!!

My dad's old volvo used to do that constant indicator clicking - we ended up using a car crusher to solve that one. :D

errrmmmmmm
NO...I haven't used a BruMMy Screwdriver [hammer] on it YET
OR considered alleviating the annoying clicking/ticking with car crusher....

I have to admit I did blow on the steering column switch yesterday
In the vain hope that the dust would come out.....[?gay dust?]
