Here's a link to a pdf version of the Uno manual. All the wiring digrams are there.

http://rapidshare.com/files/149261867/Uno_HY_Manual.pdf

If you don't have an account with RapidShare, click "Free User" then you need to wait for about 60 to 90 seconds then click the download button.

Dave.

hi thanks for the reply and link.
i do have the uno manual and couldnt find a digram on the ignition switch itself maybe i missed it or wot i am looking for isnt there but will take another look

The ignition switch is item 03500 and is shown on almost every wiring diagram in this manual.

I've never seen those symbols before. The normal terminal markings are:

30 ......Power supply to Ignition Switch
15/54 ..Switched supply from Ingition Switch to Ignition controlled components (Coil etc.)
50 ......Switched supply from Ignition Switch to Starter Motor Solenoid

The other 4 wires will be for the parking lights. One power supply from the Fuse Box and 3 wires to the Light Switch.

Dave.

dave thank you for your help why i am ask (prob doing your head in) is i have just got my self an alarm and with the alarm came four relays and from the relays come four wires that look like from the wiring diagram that came with the alarm go to the igniton switch.

1.acc.........1 turn of the key live
2.str.......... starter motor
3.ig1.........???????
4.ig2.........???????

so now with looking at it and from your help i am thinking that ig1/ig2 prob just dont connect to anywhere and just use acc/str

the installation guide is rubish its just about a diagram and thats all

will scan it and atach it in a mo
the wires with the red dots are the ones i am having probs with
many thanks

I think you are going to have several problems installing this alarm unless you can find someone who has done one before to advise you.

The Acc terminal is used on most cars so you can have the radio on without the ignition, however, Fiat ignition switches don't have this terminal. From your wiring diagram, it's unclear whether this is essential for this alarm.

Are the 4 relays (3x4 terminal and 1x5 terminal) included with the kit or does the wiring diagram assume they are already fitted to the car? If the former, are they pre-wired and which terminals of the relays (30, 85, 86, 87 and 87a or 87b) are connected to which wires.

I can't see any way the bottom right relay (5 terminal so probably changeover) can work in this wiring configuration. It would appear to have 1 terminal connected to the alarm unit, 2 terminals permanently connected to +12V an 2 more terminals connected to 12v from the ignition switch.

Dave.

Now you just have to see if it performs lol.

Hopefully you don't find that out :D

Good luck and well done fitting it
