Hi all,
Been a while since I last posted, but having finally fixed my fuel injection problems (faulty Lambda sensor) after 1.5 years off the road (and almost having it back off a couple of days ago when it died on me, luckily just a broken wire to the ignition module) I find myself wanting a little bit more power. I seem to remember reading that i could drop the cylinder head off a 1.2 engine on to give it around 20HP more due to larger valves. (Not sure how true this would be)
Would only be wanting to do it if its a simple swap, mines a 1108cc SPI FIRE, so it would make sense to use the 1242cc 8v SPI head, but it strikes me as strange that it would have larger valves. Only other one would be the 1242cc 16v SMPI head, but would this not have a different joint to the inlet manifold?
