Hi. I own a secondhand Uno (1994)which has had accident damage in the past. The "services" fuse gets blown often, causing things like rev counter, fuel gauge, idling, indicators, brake lights, etc to stop working immediately. It seems to be triggered when my left hand indicator is activated, but not every time. I checked the wiring at the front & back indicators, also inspected indicater switch - no visible problem. A 15 amp fuse did not blow (normal 10 amp) but started melting the plastic - not a good option! Can anyone help please?

i had the same problem with my coupe and it was down to water leaking from the windscreen seal onto the fusebox. try swapping the fusebox if u can and check above/behind it for leaks.

okay dude...one thing you need to do chech you ignition wiring at in you steering are. i found that my fuses kept blowing ase the wiring was burning out at the ignition and the wires crossed and kept burning out the fuses. i had to rewire and the problem stopped.

Had the same problem but it just stopped. Think it could just be a defect. Found a bunch of 10 fuses hidden all over the car. Mine is second hand. I've just keep a bunch of fuses in the car. There's even slots at the bottom of the box for spare fuses
