whenever i see a decent one, or break a car, always get the grille, black ones are easy enough to find, but red......and white....phew what a palaver, one of the reds had a clip broken by some numbnuts at a garage when they were doing a chemical flush on the radiator

 That's enough grilles for a fleet!

LOL - you're obsessed :D
A man only needs one grille, maybe none if it's mesh...

The single screw in the middle is a great Uno conundrum - it's usually missing, but if the screw is there, you don't need the clips anyway.

Ever worked on a Jap car? That grille would be held in by eight 10mm bolts, each with a washer, and there would be a steel backing plate.

Here's a bit of Uno Trivia for you. The base models seem to have stainless-steel five-bars, which are next-to-impossible to remove (easier to mask with tape before repainting). Paradoxically enough, the more expensive models have chromed-plastic bars that you can remove pretty easily.

How're you going for badges? I find a bit of silver paint on the back helps to revive the FIAT letters. As for the Turbo, that usually needs a retouch in red.

Your headlights need a clean :p
It is possible to remove the lens if you heat the sealant that holds it on - very easy if the sealant is already partly-void. Grey silicone does a passable job of replacement; grey polyurethane is better. I used black polyurethane, which gives the lens a black edge - maybe a bit prominent. Especially when the excess squeezes out on the inside as it did for me :bang:

Alternatively you can just slosh some washing detergent inside the headlight, but I prefer to take the lens off so I can remove the metal cap that masks the bulb - unnecessary with halogen bulbs (H4 bulbs have a black or silver cap on the end) - getting rid of the large metal cap removes a 'hole' from the light beam.

I got headlight wipers, and horn.:p

Haha! Sorry - I guess I didn't understand your first post
I have 4 cables behind my grille, and they end up there.

I thought maybe you were asking what the four unknown cables might be?
Really I didn't know if you were asking a question or not, but since English may not be your first language and your post was still better-written than some English people manage, I didn't want to be mean and say I couldn't understand ;)

that's allright, and your right, english is not my first language, it's norwegian:p and I was asking about what they could be. so I guess you did understand my first post:D
I'm pretty certain that 4 cables are for som kind of headlights.
but still not sure.

one of my main problems is some small technical problems

I think you're right - someone has probably added the four cables for foglights or headlights. Oh - I guess your super-Uno-with-headlight-wipers-for-Norway also has foglights already :p

One way to tell (maybe) is to check the colours of the wires.
Most two-wire cable that you can buy in a shop has red and black wires.
FIAT would probably use brown/black, and brown-with-black stripe/black for the other side - for foglights - and green or grey with green/gray/black stripe for headlights (if you see what I mean).

Do you have any extra switches inside the car? If not, I guess it's just a case of pulling the cables out if you want, though they probably do no harm if you leave them there.

The thread wasn't 'mine' to start with - it was the Moderator's :D
Meanwhile you should start another thread for your other small technical problems :)
