Hi!

I bought engine which I thought was 1,3 turbo, but I replaced head gasket and bought new bolts which were not right ones :) So... either I was given wrong bolts or I don't have 1,3 turbo engine (anyway it looks like 1,3 engine - I have similar one under bonnet :))!?
My question is: Where from I should look right numbers, letters etc and how to read this code?

what does the under bonnet look like? anything like this:

on top of the engine should be a big silvery bit that will say "uno turbo"(y)

edit: of course yours should have headlights.....and a bonnet.....and an air filter.......and some other bits.....but other than that pretty similair

Hi :)

I'm sorry... I wanted to say that I have engine block and also that this block is ~20km away from me -> how can I identify what engine block it is :p I know that it had this "big silvery bit that will say "uno turbo" <- intake manifold? :)
If I will read the numbers on block, how do I identify this engine? Is there any place to look what these numbers mean? Are these numbers on the block stamped in one place or they are stamped in different locations all over the block? :)
Thank You!

if the block has the no.s...1149 a7(or a3) 000 ..its a standard 1300cc
would be interested if its no good to you...RON
