Technical Bonnet won't shut

Just wound the boost up a fraction Mother Of God she shifts!!!

however ...

Bonnet won't fully shut u have to kinda drop it to shut it and it stays but as soon as u start driving the wind lifts it and it pops up to the secondary catch not sure how to adjust the spring catch so it'll latch properly
anyone got any ideas?

is the latch on the slam panel loose? or shifted slightly?

probably its had a front end bump at some point.

is the bonnet release sticking? of you look in the hole that the bonnet shuts into you should see the catch about 1/3rd across, one of my unos sticks and dosent lock down at all

ah will have to check that. have to say the release level wasn't clicking properly so that suggests its not right.

try getting an assistant to operate the bonnet release catch as you soak the catch in weasle **** (wd40) and check it operates smoothly and springs back fully, then if still not locking maybe adjust the locking pin and spring that locks into the catch on the bonnet, Ant!
