Have an intermittent starting problem on my sons 1.0ie(93) that i'm struggling to fix. Have changed the cap, rotor, leads and plugs but still getting symptoms which feel like fuel starvation. Pulls fine under load so have ruled out pump but it throttle response is very poor.Its as if the fuel flow is not sufficient for the butterfly opening under quick load. Any Ideas? Ive checked timing and have got an advance on increasing revs.
