Hello everyone. I feel like I've asked this before but can't seem to find any thread whatsoever. I've got a set of Croma Turbo i.e wheels that i'm going to have turned, refurb'd and fitted to my car and need help on which is the best tyre size. The Punto GT has 185/55-14's but I have a feeling these aren't the best for the Uno.

I'd be really grateful if anyone could give me some ideas.

Thanks.....................Matteo

I've got a set of these on my Strada - like the Uno Turbo Mk1 but in 14" - nice wheels aren't they!.

I've fitted 185/60HR14 tyres which are the standard size for a Strada and for the Croma Turbo I think. That size of tyres is pretty reasonably priced. I picked up a set of new Avon ZV3 tyres off ebay for £75.

The tyres I had on them from the Croma were 195/60's which were pretty big. 185/60's are fairly cheap but again too big. 185/50's or 185/55's still sound good and are roughly £50 a tyre for good makes and less for others. Cheers for the help so far. Any other suggestions would be gratefully received.

And yeah the wheels are great. I was lucky as I saw a Croma Turbo for sale online near Lake Como while I was living in Italy, and gave the guy a call to see if he'd sell just the wheels. It turned out he was an Uno Turbo enthusiast who had recently sold a pristine graphite grey Mk1, and knew why I wanted the wheels immediately, and flortunately was more than happy to split them. The car was on sale for only €350 as it was. We both got a good deal.

just got a set of these wheels with 195 tyres
do you think they will rub ?
185 tyres rubbing?
standard shocks no lowering

thanks

also may swap for other fiat alloys with right tyres
