 I'm from South Africa and have an idling problem with my '92 MK2 Uno Turbo.

The problem only occurs when I'm driving hard. What happens is when I let go of the accelerator the car just stalls, but under normal driving it does not stall.I have replaced the dumpvalve, because it did not close fast enough, but the problems is still there.Something else I also noticed is that the car is not dumping as hard as it should.

I would appreciate it if someone could give some advice

What type of dump valve have you got on it mate? Uno Turbos need a twin piston type other wise it can cause stalling problems as you have mentioned.

I've got a SMART dumpvale.The car has deveoped a misfire now.I've
replaced the plugs, petrol filter, rotor and plug leads but with no cure.If I start the car up and drive, it drives smooth, but after a while the misfire kicks in.Someone who knows a bit of the uno turbo's said that it could be my cylinder head, but I will get the distrubitor cap today, and I will see what it does after fitting that.

I have sorted the car out now.I was the computer box(Magnetti Marreli).Replaced it.;The machanic said it was because I jump started another car.
