If anyone has an uno can u post some pics of ur car up and give me some ideas of some mods that u recommend doin to the car. I have already got the uno turbo alloys, scorpion bike backbox, meshed front grill and fogs. cheers
bin told you lose a hell of a lot of ride if u just do that due to gap between spring and susp. Chris i hav those new photos 4 u. i have posted them on the forum under my first picture post. tell me what u fink
I find it kinda funny,i find i kinda sad, the dreams in which im drivin my uno are the best i eva had!
Cheers chris.lol. does the uno come with clear indicators on some models then? i know my car looks nothing special, i just do what i can afford and hopefully i make it look a bit better than standard

Yes the uno does have clear inds on some models, if you don't fancy trawling round a scrappy Direct Car Parts do some brand spanking new ones for about 30quid including postage
yeah your better off getting the new ones.. saves having to scrape mold off the old ones [xx(]
but yeah defo get it lowered.
my uno had original shocks on the front and gmax shocks on the rear. the ride wasnt bad atall really. it was lowered 60mm at the back and 35mm at the front. The front looked perfect at that height on 15" wheels. Rear looked perfect too actually..
but about 35-40mm would look good. try http://www.needforspeed.co.uk for springs.. well acutally they do loads of stuff for unos.
If i was Moshpit666 id just find some clear indicators from a scrappy like i did, i got mine off a 1.4, £30 seemed a bit steep to me for a pair of lights when u only need the lenses and bulbs anyway!
Im not sure whats happened to the www.les-smith.co.uk website, but they were selling jamex springs for something like £40!

Like the white alloys! are they powdered or sprayed?
not so keen on how the fogs are though, maybe you should cut the holes out and put them behind. that's just my opinion though, you should have your uno how you want it
thanx 4 all ur replies! alloys are anodised white, i wud love to put the fogs back into the bumper but they were a present from my rents and thay fitted them 4 me. a few peeps say they dnt like the grill? what u fink? and do u like the bike exhaust? i thought it made the car look a bit different and unique?
I find it kinda funny,i find i kinda sad, the dreams in which im drivin my uno are the best i eva had!
the grill is alrite... if u still have the original grill then just put that back on with the mesh behind it. will look good! Bike exhaust doesnt really look any different to a car exhaust... how does it sound?
The whole point of modifying is to get something unique, if u like the grille then keep it!
Defo like the exhaust! [8D]
Seeing as theres no badges at the front, id take off the ones next to the side repeaters too. There only glued on so just heat them up, nick ur gf's hairdryer, that does the job!

Exhaust makes the car sound a lot beta, gota a bit of grunt to it now. i will defo take the side bages off if i can. glad sum 1 agrees wiv the grill, lol. bin advised to not take the muffler out b/c otherwise the car just sounds too loud.

Chris, just seen the pics of your uno and it looks so similar to what mine was like. I had multispoke alloys, my grill was exactly the same etc. except mine was lowered more and had a spoiler and my interior was different. Outside looks very similar. very nice! OHand i body coloured my bumpers too. You should, looks loads better!
Cheers Bushboy, im trying to find a set of bumpers which are half plastic/half body coloured, cos i hav a habit of reversing into things and the plastic bit wont scratch or anything! lol
Im trying to find a new suspension kit to lower me 60mm, but im tempted to get some custom springs made so the car sits evenly all round and not higher at the back/front (but im waiting a few weeks until my leather interior is finished)
