Well i had to replace the slave cylinder on the mk2 UT again! when i fitted the lightened flywheel and clutch the other month i noticed the slave was leaking slightly so fortunately i brought my spare and fitted that and thought all was well, until the misses rang me at 8.00am friday. IT WONT GO IN GEAR!!! for fecks sake!!! luckily she had stopped for petrol and it didn't want to leave the station, so she asked the attendant if she could leave it there for me to come and tow it away, so me and my mate went and dragged her back. Fix It Again Tony!!! i went to my local car spares shop and he said he'l have a new unit in half an hour so instead of waiting a week from fiat i paid the man £32 and had it on in a couple of hours. the only prob was the flexible pipe, the end that screws into the slave had rusted together and is not adjustable anymore so i had to mess with the hydraulic pipes to mate them up So alls well again and im in the clear! i took a few photo's of the operation (you know me!!)
