Hi

I want to change all of the interior lights on the instrument panel and dash etc. to a bright blue instead of green. Iv'e managed to do it with my digital clock using blue acetate and some greaseproof paper.

Can anyone give me any tips on how to go about doing this?

Thanks

If you are somewhat familiar with electronic components, you may try to fit blue LED's in replacement of bulbs. Don't forget that these are not designed to cope with the 12 v car battery, so you'll need to fit a series resistor to limit the current drawn by the LED's. If properly fitted in your instrument panel, beautiful effect may be expected.

i saw a bloke on ebay selling a set of blue lights to fit the majority of cars ... well, cars with a certain socket (the ones that the uno have, that twist in or something) and you could get them in a few colours. Not sure if they were LEDs or actual bulbs but it might be worth a look

I imaging the led's to look much better but i'll probably make a mess of it... but, ideally i'd like to do that.

I've seen blue bulbs on ebay but they're all the 501 types and I think they might be too big.
